Assignment: Create a company concept, design a logo, a print ad campaign, and a billboard ad.
Company Concept: Tennis company aimed at people that play at their local park, instead of the their local country club.
Tagline: No Memberships, No Excuses
With that in mind, I decided to create a logo with a feel of graffiti or street art. I chose to make an emblem logo as a play against the formality of the form, while keeping with a traditional tennis yellow, adding black for contrast. The large S in the yellow circle also works as a logo symbol, which can also be reversed or laid over lighter backgrounds.
